This wireless system simply works

This system is simple and easy to use and I've not encountered any issues with using it. Plug the transmitter in to the relay to charge, it automatically pairs and off you go...It's that simple and it works without any hiccups! It'd be nice if each charge lasted longer then 8 hrs but it's better then most. The recharge time isn't an issue either.

Line 6 Relay G10 Guitar Wireless System

Overall this is an excellent product and I am enjoying using it. I like how easy it is to use. I had a Shire wireless system which worked well but it had more parts (transmitter which I clipped onto the guitar strap) and not as versatile. I bought two and I found that the transmitter is the part that dictates what frequency is being used. In the sync function, it will change the receiver and not the other way around. If you turn on two units, one of them will automatically change to an alternate frequency. This is great if you only have one or two units but has the potential to be a problem. There are two negatives both which are not strong criticisms but something which could be improved. The first is the power connection which uses a mini-USB connection. It's OK but it would have been much better to use a conventional plug which is easier to connect and less likely to break. The second issue is that if using multiple units, it can be hard to keep track of what frequencies are being used. Yes, I know you can label the transmitters and receivers to know which pairs belong to each other but a frequency designator, even if it is just a number which you can refer to a chart for actually frequency used, would be useful. One of the things I'd like to be able to do is have a receiver with two or more transmitters assigned to it. This means when managing sound on a stage, you can get the performer to swap transmitters (with a full battery charge) in a plug and play manner without having to change anything else. Without a simple way of assigning frequency or reading what frequency is used, you can't do this. Apart from those points, it's an excellent unit.
