Whether you're a vintage purist or like to stay on the cutting edge of technology, being a guitarist in the digital age means having access to a wealth of sounds and technology to create your music quicker and easier than before. Apple’s GarageBand offers everything you need to learn, play, record, mix, and share great-sounding music.
Plug in your electric guitar or bass and play through classic amps and stompbox effects. You also get access to virtual instruments which you can arrange and mix like keyboards, strings, drum grooves, loops and much more.
Plus you can share your song using email, Facebook, YouTube, SoundCloud, or AirDrop for iOS as well as store them across all your iOS devices with iCloud.

For those wanting something simple with some heavier sounds, the AmpKit is for you. This is great for practice as well as trying out different types of amp combos and effects.
